Event Description Jose’ Luis Zapatero, former Prime Minister of Spain, will be the sixth
speaker at The Vicente Fox Forum of World Leaders at TCU. He will speak
from 10:15 – 11:15 a.m. Feb. 27, 2013, in TCU’s Brown-Lupton University
Union Ballroom, located at 2901 Stadium Drive.
Zapatero is a Spanish politician who served as prime minister of Spain from 2004 – 2011.
Former Mexican president Vicente Fox was the Forum’s first speaker, other speakers include former Canadian
Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, former ruler and President of Nigeria the Honorable Olusegun Obasanjo.
A key focus of the Forum is facilitating connections between former
world leaders and college and high school students to encourage
leadership development among youth and provide them with a glimpse of
presidential leadership. TCU students, as well as students from area
high schools and other universities, will be able to attend the
afternoon Forums free of charge.
